As parents of students enrolled in the esteemed IB Program, or those whose children intend to enroll in the future, we are very fortunate that AHS is now an IB World School giving us the opportunity to participate in this extraordinary program. However…
The responsibility of guaranteeing the survival of IB rests with us.
LVUSD only provides us with half the funds needed to run the program. The IBPA must make up the difference. It is imperative that IB achieves 100% parent involvement. Anything less may result in the loss of the IB Program as an alternative curriculum for our kids.
Be assured, every dollar you donate today will be used exclusively by AHS-IBPA to directly benefit every IB student and teacher by providing the essentials, such as:
* Teacher Training and Conferences * Lab, Exam and International Courier Fees *New Programs of Study *Materials and Supplies
* Curriculum Development and International Assessments
Suggested donation levels (although any amount will be gratefully accepted):
- Basic Membership: ($125.00) Includes one 2010 Entertainment Book filled with valuable coupons and discounts to local businesses totaling over $15,000 in savings plus a voucher good for 1 free Clippers ticket. ($65 value)
- Academic Leadership: ($250.00) Includes Family Name tile to be proudly displayed on the new “IB Pathway to Knowledge” on AHS campus.
- International Leadership: ($500.00) The first 5 donors will each receive a $100 gift certificate for The Grill On The Alley in Westlake Village and an “IB Pathway to Knowledge” family tile displayed on the AHS campus.
- Elite Patron of Excellence: ($2,500.00) Includes a “Commitment to Excellence 2009-2010” plaque to be proudly displayed on AHS campus.
